One down, One to go

I had my second Governmental Accounting exam today.  It was harder than I expected, but that seemed to be the general consensus among my classmates.  I did pretty well, but missed my personal goal by two points.  Oh well.  I improved from the first test, so I guess a positive trend is good enough.  I just need to keep moving up!

I have a Partnership Tax test on Thursday.  I’m not really sure what to expect because I have never had this professor before.  Also, this is more of a written concepts test rather than a practical numbers test.  This will be a first for me.  I have about 20 code sections and revenue rulings to memorize before then—not fun.  We’ve never been required to know code sections in the past, so this is new for me too.

I’m staying here this weekend to study for my Advanced AIS test next Monday.  I think that one is going to be a doozie.  I’ll have all weekend to study for that though.

Emma has been playing sick today.  She coughed several times last night and woke me up.  Today she has still coughed a few times, but is playing and bouncing as normal.  I think she’s mad because I took her away from her Mimi.  If she acts the same way again tonight, I will probably find a vet around here to get her checked out.  I’m  not too worried though—she is eating and playing after all! :)

That’s all for now.  Since it’s getting prettier, I will try to get some good pictures of Emma this weekend.  We also plan to enjoy the cooler and less humid air—Welcome Fall!!
